Today, the partnership has been officially announced&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The news comes straight from the <a href=\"https:\/\/news.xbox.com\/en-us\/2026\/05\/11\/xbox-game-pass-and-discord-partnership-announce\/\">Xbox blog<\/a>, which states: &#8220;Discord Nitro now includes a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass where available, giving eligible members a new way to discover and play great games.&#8221; Note the deal only applies to the regular $9.99 Nitro sub, not the $2.99 basic one.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Discord has also rolled out updates that make it even easier to discover and jump into games included with Game Pass,&#8221; the blog added. This means there&#8217;s a proper integration now that allows players to instantly try the games included in the Game Pass sub if their friends show that activity on Discord, so it&#8217;s only a couple of clicks (and a download) away.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/discord.com\/blog\/nitro-rewards\">full announcement<\/a> by Discord&#8217;s team confirms this version of Game Pass comes with a 10-hour trial of cloud gaming and games like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/fallout-4-walkthrough-and-guide-4019\">Fallout 4<\/a>, Stardew Valley, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/dayz\">DayZ<\/a>, Deep Rock Galactic, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/overcooked-2\">Overcooked 2<\/a>, Grounded, &#8220;and more&#8221;. Xbox blockbusters like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/gears-5\">Gears 5<\/a>, Doom Eternal, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/dishonored-2\">Dishonored 2<\/a> are apparently included too.
