With the full breadth of Cassian\u2019s life now laid before us in TV and movie format, fan editor David Kaylor has taken it upon himself to make the film feel more like a companion to its canonical prequel.<\/p>\n<p>Later this month, Kaylor will release a<em>\u00a0<\/em>cut of\u00a0<em>Rogue One\u00a0<\/em>that \u201cre-envisions [the movie] as the finale and epilogue of <em>Andor<\/em>.\u201d Where the original movie is from Jyn Erso\u2019s POV, this version tells things from Cassian\u2019s. To that end, it\u2019ll feature the show\u2019s musical themes and leitmotifs, employ flashbacks similar to how the show did, and be more tonally similar to <em>Andor<\/em>.
