The livery traces its roots directly back to the 1980 racing season, when the US-based customer team Dick Barbour Racing entered an Apple-liveried Porsche 935 K3 into major endurance events, including the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. It honored the 75th anniversary of Porsche Motorsport while simultaneously celebrating 50 years since the founding of Apple. The livery traces its roots directly back to the 1980 racing season, when the US-based customer team Dick Barbour Racing entered an Apple-liveried Porsche 935 K3 into major endurance events, including the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. Decades later, that shared passion for innovation was successfully revived on the cutting-edge Porsche 963.\n<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Choosing the Laguna Seca Raceway for this historic tribute was a deeply intentional move by both brands.
