Bicycle Retailer reports<\/a> that Specialized has permanently lowered the prices of Turbo Levo electric mountain bikes<\/a> in the US and Canada. The move comes amid increasing competition in the e-bike space and includes the newest Turbo Levo EVO models released in April. Online retailers, including Performance Bike, announced the new pricing to customers yesterday.<\/p>\n

Singletracks compared launch prices for various Turbo Levo models and found some significant reductions, particularly at the higher end. The S-Works Levo R<\/a> sees the biggest price drop, down more than $4,000 from the original price. Only two models saw no price reduction \u2014 the Levo 4 LTD and the Levo 4 Comp Carbon. <\/p>\n

Bicycle Retailer based their reporting on an email sent to Specialized dealers saying the brand is cutting prices thanks to cost savings and also to stay competitive. According to the email, retailers who purchased affected bikes between February 1 and May 1, 2026 are eligible for a credit. Similarly, customers who purchased a Levo between January 1 and May 7, 2026, will receive a credit that can be used toward the purchase of a new bike.<\/p>\n

Prices for Specialized Turbo Levo electric mountain bikes remain unchanged in the European Union. <\/p>\n

Like other legacy bike brands, Specialized is facing competition from new entrants in the eMTB market. For example, Chinese brand Amflow sells their top-of-the-line e-bike, the PR Carbon Pro, equipped with the powerful new Avinox M2S motor<\/a>, for just $6,799. <\/p>\n
