Netflix has reportedly greenlit Devil May Cry Season 3 ahead of Season 2’s release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

According to MP1st<\/u><\/a>, the streaming giant is already on board for a further season, with the site’s sources claiming “production is already in motion behind the scenes.” It’s fully in-line with prior comments from showrunner Adi Shankar, who has long teased that the show has been designed to follow a multi-season arc. <\/p>\n

The news follows the recently released action-packed trailer that gave us a brief look into what we can expect in Devil May Cry Season 2,<\/u> when Dante comes face-to-face with his long-lost brother, Vergil. Like the first season, Shankar plays around with both canonical events and their timelines, with Vergil insisting that when Mundus, the Prince of Darkness, found him as a child, he “set him free.”<\/p>\n
