While fans aren\u2019t getting <em>Winds of Winter<\/em> to celebrate its thirtieth, they\u2019re getting something pretty neat to mark the occasion that\u2019s far from a consolation prize: a special rerelease.<\/p>\n<p>Folio Society (which already makes pretty decadent editions of the series) is publishing 1,000 limited-edition single-volume editions of <em>A Game of Thrones<\/em><span>, signed by Martin himself<\/span><em>. <\/em>According to People, the 872-page single-volume rerelease will feature artwork by Jonathan Burton as well as a clamshell box, rolled map, and a \u201cdragon leather\u201d binding. If you\u2019re a baller on a budget, we regret to inform you that Folio Society\u2019s rerelease comes with a $2,200 price tag. That\u2019s a lot of coin! Like, rent money. But if you\u2019re not scared away from the decimal places, you can cop yourself a copy of the 30th anniversary of <em>Game of Thrones<\/em> from Folio Society on July 15.<\/p>\n<p>For everyone else who doesn\u2019t\u00a0<span>live in that price margin, you can clutch your weathered edition of <em>Game of Thrones<\/em> close to your chest and look forward to all the <em>Game of Thrones<\/em> projects Warner Bros. has yearly plans for.\u00a0<\/span>The most immediate project is <em>House of the Dragon<\/em>\u2018s third season, which drops on HBO Max on June 21.
