For those unaware, back in 2024, Caine wrote a social media post quoting Alfred Pennyworth &#8211; his character from the Batman films &#8211; but, he accidently got the name of the film he was quoting <em>ever so slightly<\/em> wrong. &#8220;Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up. During this set piece, the DC villain berates his goons for failing to thwart our heroes, saying to them: &#8220;I simply cannot sanction any more of your buffoonery.&#8221; This is a reference to Batman Forever. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is due to release later this month, on 22nd May, across <a href=\"https:\/\/store.playstation.com\/en-gb\/product\/UP1018-PPSA16833_00-LEGOBATMAN000000\/\">PS5<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xbox.com\/en-GB\/games\/store\/lego-batman-legacy-of-the-dark-knight\/9N0PBQXBF0RL\">Xbox Series X\/S<\/a> and PC (<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2215200\/LEGO_Batman_Legacy_of_the_Dark_Knight\/\">Steam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/store.epicgames.com\/en-US\/p\/lego-batman-legacy-of-the-dark-knight-c82b6b\">Epic<\/a>).
