It marked his return to performing for the first time in the US since his 2022 \u2018Justice\u2019 world tour.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>At the first weekend, Bieber brought out special guests Dijon, Tems, Wizkid and Mk.gee, and at the second weekend he was joined by SZA for an acoustic duet of \u2018Snooze\u2019 and by Billie Eilish for \u2018One Less Lonely Girl\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Now, it looks like the appearances have led to his popularity on Spotify skyrocketing, and rising by nearly 2,000 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>According to calculations from <em>Bloomberg<\/em>\u2018s Lucas Shaw and from <em>kworb.net<\/em>, in the week ending April 23, there were approximately 431million streams of his music on the platform \u2013 the equivalent of 1,790 per cent more than his weekly average before Coachella 2026.<\/p>\n<p>There was also a surge in streams in the run up to his headline slots too, with him having roughly 27million streams on the week ending April 2 and 18.4million the week after.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Justin Bieber&#8217;s Coachella set was a huge success.<\/p>\n<p>Streams on Spotify jumped 10x. pic.twitter.com\/fPjFohwGve<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Lucas Shaw (@Lucas_Shaw) May 4, 2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>After the first slot on April 11, there was an increase of 281million streams in that week (ending April 16), and the second weekend then saw a mammoth spike of 431million streams on Spotify by the end of that week (April 23).<\/p>\n<p>Before the festival, he was reported to be hitting an average of 22.8million streams.<\/p>\n<p>Momentum has continued into the weeks after the festival, and although they are not as high as that 431million peak, last week (ending April 30) saw a still-impressive 295million streams on Spotify alone.<\/p>\n<p>As well as leading to a massive spike on Spotify, it has also been reported that Bieber will earn over $10million (\u00a37.3million) in total for his pair of Coachella performances.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span>  <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-article-2\" class=\"lazy-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The slot at the festival came on the heels of Bieber\u2019s two \u2018Swag\u2019 albums which each dropped last year.<\/p>\n<p>Both earned three stars each, with <em>NME<\/em> describing \u2018Swag\u2018 as Bieber finding \u201csanctuary in faith and love, with the help of a diverse group of collaborators\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Its follow-up, \u2018Swag II\u2018 was dubbed \u201cfrustrating because there\u2019s plenty of great material scattered across these two parts, which would be far stronger as a single, shorter release.
