Variety has word Sophie Thatcher, Erin Kellyman, and Joe Alwyn will star in Cavendish<\/em>, \u201cirreverent and original thriller set against the witch hunts of 17th-century Britain.\u201d Directed by Christopher Andrews, the story is set in 1645, and sees \u201ca privileged young bride (Thatcher) accused of witchcraft on her wedding day and pursued by a ruthless witch hunter (Alwyn). Forced into an uneasy alliance with a sharp-witted poacher living on the margins of society (Kellyman), the two women, as per the synopsis, fight back, \u201cturning their powerlessness into strength through violence, wit and defiance.\u201d<\/p>\n
