\n\tMaluma is gearing up for the release of his seventh studio album, Loco x Volver<\/em>, dropping May 15.<\/p>\n

\n\tLoosely translated to \u201cdying to return,\u201d the album will be home to 14 songs, including four previously released tracks: \u201c1+1\u201d with Kany Garc\u00eda, \u201cBotero\u201d with Arc\u00e1ngel and NTG, \u201cCon el Coraz\u00f3n\u201d with the late Regional Colombian singer Yeison Jimenez, and the Ryan Castro-assisted \u201cPa\u2019 La Seca.\u201d\u00a0The former of the four hit No. 1 on the Billboard<\/em> Tropical Airplay and Latin Airplay charts this week.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe set\u2019s title is an ode to his very beginnings, with Maluma adding: \u201cIt\u2019s titled \u2018Loco x Volver\u2019 because I missed Juan Luis (his real name); I missed my true essence, that dreamer of a boy, and now, I\u2019m back. I\u2019m doing well now; I feel strong, happy, and excited. This is an album that helped me heal, and without a doubt, it is the most personal project I have ever created. This is a very special moment for me\u2014one that I hope resonates with you all\u2014an album that truly represents my roots and my culture.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to a press statement, the project goes beyond the evolution of his more than decadelong career, forming \u201ca deeply personal musical journey that blends genres, emotions and high-caliber collaborations.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Loco x Volver<\/em> \u2014 whose album cover shows the artist when he was a young boy \u2014 is Maluma\u2019s first album in three years, following Don Juan<\/em> (2023), Papi Juancho <\/em>(2020), 11:11 <\/em>(2019), F.A.M.E.<\/em> (2018), Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy<\/em> (2015) and Magia <\/em>(2012).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
