Now the Invincible Season 4 finale is out the door, thoughts have inevitably turned to the already confirmed Season 5 and beyond. Co-creator Robert Kirkman has said that he\u2019s sticking to his plan to wrap up the series in seven, eight, or nine seasons, but it will all depend on getting a renewal beyond Season 5 from Amazon.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This echoes comments Kirkman made in July last year<\/a>. \u201cRoughly seven to eight to nine seasons I think would be necessary to do the complete arc from the comics of Invincible,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cSo we\u2019ll see. Hopefully we get there. We get a tonne of support from Amazon Prime and couldn\u2019t be more thrilled with how things are going. So, very excited and hopeful for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

For now, though, story threads for Season 5 are coming into focus. Kirkman told TheWrap<\/a> that stories and plot threads introduced into Invincible will be concluded later, which should give fans concerned about The Order, for example, some reassurance.<\/p>\n
