    \n\tThe deal marks Gravy\u2019s first new label in nearly a decade after first signing with Republic in 2017.<\/p>\n

    Dan Gill<\/strong>, BMG\u2019s executive vp of recorded music, said in a statement: \u201cYung Gravy has carved out a lane entirely his own, combining infectious records with a highly original artistic voice to create something that truly connects with fans. What makes him so exciting is not just the music itself, but the clarity of his vision and the world he has built around it. We\u2019re excited to welcome him to BMG and support what comes next!\u201d<\/p>\n

    \n\tBeginning his career on SoundCloud, Gravy started gaining traction in 2017 with his songs \u201cMr. Clean\u201d and \u201c1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot\u201d (both RIAA platinum-certified). In 2022, he achieved his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with \u201cBetty (Get Money), which debuted at No. 68 and climbed into the top 40. The track sampled Rick Astley\u2019s 1987 single, \u201cNever Gonna Give You Up,\u201d which sat atop the ot 100 in 1988.<\/p>\n
