Every time a piece is installed, its undulations are determined by where the pins are placed, and it assumes something of a new version. This complements Nguyen\u2019s approach to silk as a kind of \u201csecond skin,\u201d he says, which adapts to its environment, represents memories and heritage, and serves as a metaphor for his personal identity.<\/p>\n<p>Nguyen\u2019s work is currently on view in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thisiscolossal.com\/2026\/04\/textile-art-redefined-exhibition\/\">Textile Art Redefined<\/a> <\/em>at Saatchi Gallery.
