On Tuesday, Dyson announced the newest addition to its hair-care lineup, the Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer, a compact version of its flagship hair dryer designed for those on the go. It’s 32% smaller and 25% lighter than the original Supersonic, while still delivering the same performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tara Brown, CNET’s social media producer, tested the product before its launch and said, “I have an original Supersonic, and the quality and pressure of airflow almost feels the same, which is great for the $300 price.”<\/p>\n

The Supersonic Travel features Dyson’s smart heat control technology, which measures airflow 100 times per second to prevent extreme hair damage. It’s also universally voltage-compatible, so it adapts automatically to the country you’re in without needing a power adapter or converter.<\/p>\n
