Massive Attack <\/strong>signed with Play It Again Sam<\/strong>, part of the [PIAS] Label Group. The partnership kicked off on Thursday (April 16) with the release of the band\u2019s new single, \u201cBoots on the Ground\u201d featuring Tom Waits, accompanied by an original film directed by the band in collaboration with photo artist thefinaleye. The song is the first release from the trip-hop pioneers since their 2020 EP, Eutopia<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Tiffany Day (broke records)<\/h2>\n

H<\/span>yper-pop artist Tiffany Day<\/strong> signed to broke records<\/strong>, which released her sophomore album, HALO<\/em>, on April 3. Day has racked up more than 115 million streams globally, according to a press release.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cThe day we met Tiffany we felt like there was a strong connection where we could truly support her vision as an artist,\u201d said Andre Benz<\/strong>, CEO and co-founder of broke records, in a statement. \u201cWatching her grow and blossom into the star that she is has been nothing but outstanding to witness and we\u2019re eager to propel her into capturing the global audience that she deserves.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cTiffany is one of those artists where you just get out of the way and let it happen,\u201d added Avi Chez-Shaw<\/strong>, A&R at broke records. \u201cYou can see and hear the intention in everything she does. T<\/span>MWRK has signed Big Loud Texas\/ Mercury Records artist Dylan Gossett for management. Gossett\u2019s team includes Andrew McInnes, Paddy Scace and Sydney Clarke at TMWRK.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn 2023, Gossett earned a breakthrough with his song \u201cCoal,\u201d and followed with his EPs No Better Time and Songs in the Gravel. He also released songs including \u201cIf I Had a Lover,\u201d and \u201cTo Be Free,\u201d and has appeared at festivals including Stagecoach, SXSW, CMA Fest and Austin City Limits Festival. In 2025, he released his full-length album Westward via Big Loud Texas\/Mercury Records.<\/p>\n

P<\/span>urity Ring vocalist mj (Megan James) signed with Captured Tracks<\/strong> for her new solo project, mmj<\/strong>. The music is described as \u201cthe sound of lost folk songs refracted through a haunted lens of dream pop and shoegaze.\u201d Mmj is opening for Purity Ring with special acoustic solo performances on the band\u2019s current tour. \u2014\u00a0Chris Eggertsen<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/li>\n

Electric Feel Records<\/strong>, part of Electric Feel Entertainment, re-signed the folk duo Late Night Thoughts<\/strong>. The band, composed of Michael Harlow and Brian Rauch, first signed with the label in 2024. Late Night Thoughts released the EP Coming Back Home<\/em> on April 10. According to a press release, the group\u2019s 2025 single \u201cGrow Up\u201d has generated more than 20 million streams across platforms, while another single, \u201cDays Like This,\u201d has generated more than 15 million. The duo is set to release its debut album later this year.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly excited to continue our work with Electric Feel on our debut album,\u201d said Late Night Thoughts in a statement. \u201cOver the past couple of years, they have connected us to an ecosystem of fellow creatives who have helped us grow our story. Tenace Records<\/strong> signed Mae Muller<\/strong>. The English singer released her debut album, Sorry I\u2019m Late<\/em>, via Capitol Records in 2023. Her new single, \u201cTell You That,\u201d was released on April 10. She\u2019s slated to perform at the Mighty Hoopla festival in London on May 30.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI\u2019m so excited for the future at Tenace,\u201d said Muller in a statement. \u201cTo have a team that loves and cares about the music is always so important, and I feel like I\u2019ve really found that here. New era pending!\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tMuller\u2019s manager, Ej Daf\u00e9<\/strong>, added: \u201cIt\u2019s so important to find a home for your artist where they feel comfortable, and also know that their voice is heard. W<\/span>arner Music Group\u2019s ADA<\/strong> signed German rap and pop artist FAYAN<\/strong> (born Yannick Steffen). He\u2019s currently ramping up to release his third single of the year, \u201cVERSPRICH MIR\u201d; he also has his first headline tour kicking off later this month.<\/p>\n
Felix Brouwer<\/strong>, director at ADA\/Warner Music Central Europe, said in a statement: \u201cThe collaboration with FAYAN underlines our commitment to supporting the most exciting talents with tailor-made distribution solutions. Reece Young<\/strong> signed with Oxide Music<\/strong>. The first release under the deal is Young\u2019s new alt-pop single, \u201cNothing at All.\u201d<\/p>\n

R<\/span>each Records, founded by artist Lecrae and home to artists including Hulvey, Tedashii, Trip Lee and Anike, has signed Atlanta\u2019s 2819 Worship, from 2819 Church, led by pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell.<\/p>\n
