Finland just opened in Helsinki \u2013 and cars won\u2019t be able to use it.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"c-ad u-show-for-mobile-only\">\n<div class=\"c-ad__placeholder\"><img decoding=\"async\" pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.<\/p>\n<p>The new bridge means Kruunuvuorenranta is now just five-and-a-half kilometres away from the city centre, reducing the distance from 11 kilometres.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKruunuvuorensilta bridge is the new, unique and exciting landmark for Helsinki,\u201d said Daniel Sazonov, Mayor of Helsinki.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA sight that will draw visitors from near and far. The new bridge reshapes how we look at Helsinki. It attaches the areas of Kruunuvuorenranta and Laajasalo in a completely new way to the larger central city area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More than 50,000 people visited the bridge during its opening weekend.<\/p>\n<h2>Other new attractions in Helsinki<\/h2>\n<p>Yrj\u00f6nkatu Swimming Hall, the oldest still-operating swimming hall in the Nordics, reopened to the public in February, and it\u2019s a must-visit if you\u2019re a fan of Art Deco.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, Seurasaari Open-Air Museum is set to open a traditional Finnish summer cottage in the next few months. A real glimpse into how Finns spend the warmer months, the cottage was originally completed in 1953 and has been used continually until now.<\/p>\n<p>Over at Helsinki Central Railway Station, a new restaurant called Taulu has just opened within the building\u2019s historic dining hall.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for somewhere to stay, the spectacular Waldorf Astoria Helsinki opened in
