One of the more interesting among them was the newly launched Hunt 5AM Limitless Ti_UD Carbon Spoke Wheelset. This is a wheelset that\u2019s impressively light, but it\u2019s also fast. Hunt claims it\u2019s faster than the Enve 4.5 Pro, the Scope Artech 6, and the Roval Rapide Sprint when paired with 30mm tires. Rather than a shallower front, the Hunt 5AM Limitless uses a deeper 58mm front wheel and a shallower 55mm rear wheel. The internal width for both is 23mm, and the bead is hooked. External width, however, changes from front to rear, with 34.5mm up front and 30mm out back. As always, Hunt has receipts showing impressive numbers in the tunnel to back up the statements.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_983246\" class=\"pom-image-wrap photo-alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1700\" height=\"1135\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-983246\" src=\"https:\/\/velo-cdn.outsideonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Hunt-Aero-Chart.jpeg?width=3840&amp;auto=webp&amp;quality=75&amp;fit=cover\"><figcaption class=\"pom-caption\">(Photo: Hunt)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>To manage the weight of a fairly deep wheelset, Hunt attacked the challenge from a couple of different directions. The most visible is the spoke count, featuring 15 front and 18 rear Vonoa Ti_UD carbon spokes. Hunt reduced the rim walls because less carbon means less weight. Unfortunately, you also have to support the carbon in a wheel, and Hunt managed that by changing the carbon blend to a mix of T700, T800, and T1000 UD carbon fibers, plus high-modulus Mitsubishi Pyrofil HR4012M. Then, Hunt used a combination of clever spoke bracing and creative layup to keep that from turning into an overly stiff and brittle wheel.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_983215\" class=\"pom-image-wrap
