\n\tIn another video from the surprise gig in front of a flower shop, Capaldi performs a moving rendition of his 2023 hit \u201cHow I\u2019m Feeling Now.\u201d During the event, a member of Capaldi\u2019s team handed flowers out to the gathered fans with notes attached, which it appeared a number took with them when they walked upstairs to attend the MSG show.<\/p>\n

\n\tCapaldi \u2014\u00a0who posted his own footage of the mildly chaotic subterranean show on TikTok \u2014 also performed his yearning new single, \u201cStay Love,\u201d his first release since his 2025 EP Survive<\/em>. The song\u2019s release comes after Capaldi confirmed earlier this week that the \u201cmystery\u201d free vinyl in a plain white sleeve with pitched-down vocals and no identifying artist information that showed up in U.K. and U.S. stores ahead of this weekend\u2019s Record Store Day was indeed his new single.<\/p>\n

\n\tMany fans had guessed that it might be Capaldi based on the vocal inflection and romantic lyrics, according to NME. The emotional track includes the swoony lines: \u201cSo when the rights are going wrong\/ And I\u2019m barely holding on\/ Baby hear me when I say\/ Oh won\u2019t you stay love\/ When everybody\u2019s leaving\/ Come on, stay love\/ To get me through the evening.\u201c<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to a release from Capaldi\u2019s label, the three-song pop-up in front of Damselfly Flowers for \u201cunwitting commuters\u201d included the handing out of single-stem blooms with notes reading \u201c\u2018Stay Love’\u201d Lewis Capaldi\u201d on them to those gathered around, with the crowd swelling to over 5,000 people, \u201cturning the New York City landmark into a cavernous music hall.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tProduced by The Monsters & Strangerz and Michael Pollack, \u201cStay Love\u201d appears on the deluxe edition of the Survive<\/em> EP.<\/p>\n

\n\tCapaldi will headline MGM Music Hall in Boston on Saturday night (April 18).<\/p>\n
