Love & Special Sauce frontman posted on X that he\u2019d had a \u201creally tough day today\u201d after he \u201clost my retirement fund in a hack\/Scam when I switched my @Ledger over to my new computer and by accident downloaded a malicious ledger app from the @Apple store.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAll my BTC gone in an instant,\u201d he added at the time. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn another X post, he shared just how much he lost. \u201cI lost 5.9 BTC all I had for ten years I worked on this f\u2013k be careful out there,\u201d G. Love wrote. As of press time, 5.9 BTC converts to about $439,000.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn response to people accusing G. Love of lying about the situation, he later wrote, \u201cIt\u2019s just hard to get scammed. F\u2013k all yall haters that called me a liar.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI been in the crypto circus since 2017,\u201d the guitarist continued. \u201cToday they caught me off guard. It was my own damn fault for not being more diligent. But let it serve as a warning. There\u2019s so many scams.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tG. Love\u2019s alleged stolen Bitcoin appears to have been laundered through KuCoin, a cryptocurrency trading platform. The company\u2019s official account responded to him on X, sharing, \u201cWe have taken temporary restraining measures and temporarily frozen the suspicious account for 7 days,\u201d to which the singer replied with his thanks.<\/p>\n

\n\tLater, he wrote, \u201cIt sucks so bad that there are so many bad actors out there \u2026 I truly believe in crypto and I have for almost 10 years, but I\u2019ve gotten f\u2013ked over quite a bit now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn thecharts, G. Love\u2019s band has scored nine albums on the Billboard 200. His 2011 LP Fixin\u2019 to Die <\/em>reached No. 8 on the Top Rock Albums ranking. <\/p>\n
