Booker has also been talking about an imminent visit with teammate Steph Curry (\u201cwho recently purchased a piece by Turrell\u201d), and even designed a basketball shoe for Nike that Turrell took a liking to.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cMy hair is sticking up on my arm just remembering every time I\u2019ve been there,\u201d Booker told <em>The Athletic <\/em>about <em>Roden Crater<\/em>. \u201cI don\u2019t know if you\u2019ve ever felt like you were going to a different dimension, but it\u2019s like a portal that you\u2019re walking toward and no matter how close you get\u2014I want to say heaven\u2019s on the other side\u2014but it feels like you\u2019re going somewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTurrell is a fan of basketball and, of course, art that takes a certain kind of investment to appreciate in full. \u201cThese are things that take time,\u201d he told <em>The Athletic<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s shorter than a basketball game, but it\u2019s longer than a sermon.\u201d Of meeting Booker, Turrell said, \u201cIt was quite a thrill. These are people that are special and have been special to basketball, to Arizona and the community in Phoenix. He\u2019s quite an amazing person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBooker has developed a reputation as a man of taste, with a wide variety of interests. \u201cHe wants to be Devin. He doesn\u2019t want to be nobody else,\u201d Ryan Dunn, a teammate, said. \u201cFrom the way that he dresses to his house to his (art) collection, it\u2019s something that\u2019s unique and one of one.
