Old-school Skyline script on its rear haunch too, plus GT-R style rear lights. We\u2019re excited.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, it\u2019ll likely be a JDM-only model, but the above teasers were shown off at Nissan\u2019s \u2018vision\u2019 event where it also confirmed that its product portfolio would be streamlined. That means the current global lineup will be reduced from 56 to 45 models, and we\u2019re hoping that\u2019ll allow what was previously forbidden fruit to end up in Europe. We can but dream.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"HtmlContent\" class=\"MarkUpWrapper-sc-t20i90-0 hQwWlJ\">\n<p>Anyway, there\u2019s not a whole lot more to say about the new four-door Skyline just yet. Nissan says it\u2019ll be a \u201cdriver-focused sedan with performance, precision and raw emotion at its core\u201d. This is good news. It has also confirmed future Nissans will have a wider range of powertrain options, and we know that it\u2019s working on a \u201cperformance-oriented V6 sedan\u201d with Infiniti badges. The current Skyline is almost identical to the Infiniti Q50, so we could see something similar for the next gen.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Nissan says that it\u2019ll continue to integrate AI into its driver assistance tech and safety systems, and the new Elgrand \u2013 which will launch in summer 2026 \u2013 should be available with \u2018end-to-end autonomous capability\u2019 by the end of 2027.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new Nissan Skyline is in the works, and it looks like it\u2019ll have plenty of retro design cues.
