in Tyler\u2019s film. The company said Mario admitted there was no misconduct during his time on set, noting Mario himself alleges the assault occurred at Perry&#8217;s home.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-07a42ace9891c9732e837dd4e79aa262\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink canvas-text-block--default  \" data-context='{\"section\":\"permalink\",\"name\":\"text_block\"}'>\n<p>Lionsgate says &#8220;now, tens years later, [Mario] is suing Lionsgate for negligent retention regarding alleged sexual advances [Tyler] allegedly made towards him at Tyler\u2019s private residence (not on Lionsgate property or project; before filming occurred; and years after the shoot wrapped.\u201d The film company says it is just a transparent ploy to keep the case out of federal court and wants the judge to dismiss the case against it.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-2b68e8350a47cae75f8b225a02425eb5\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink canvas-text-block--default  \" data-context='{\"section\":\"permalink\",\"name\":\"text_block\"}'>\n<p>As TMZ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/12\/26\/tyler-perry-sued-sexual-battery\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\"><strong>first reported<\/strong><\/a>, Mario, who appeared in &#8220;Boo! A Madea Halloween&#8221;, claimed in court docs that Tyler made unwanted sexual advances on him.
