They are particularly common\u00a0in\u00a0the disputed South Kordofan region, currently the war&#8217;s primary battleground,\u00a0and in areas controlled by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the west like Darfur.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The UN&#8217;s chidren&#8217;s agency (UNICEF) said drones were &#8220;responsible for nearly 80 percent&#8221; of the at least 245 children reported killed or injured during the first three months of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Drones are killing and wounding girls and boys in their homes, in markets, on the roads, near schools and health facilities,&#8221;
