Hot off the release of their co-produced matrimonial thriller\u00a0<em>Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen<\/em> with Haley Z. Boston, this time the duo is teaming up with Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews for what essentially looks like \u201cWhat if we did\u00a0<em>Stranger Things<\/em> with less \u201980s, and more people pushing 80?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The Boroughs<\/em> stars Alfred Molina as Sam Cooper, who is dreading his move into The Boroughs, a seemingly perfect retirement community in the deserts of New Mexico\u2014if you\u2019re ready to give up on life, as Sam sees it. But as he starts getting settled into his new quiet life and meeting the other residents, Sam quickly finds there\u2019s more to The Boroughs than meets the eye\u2026 and that you\u2019re less likely to give up on life there than to potentially lose it at the hands of something sinister.<\/p>\n<div class=\"not-prose video-container\"><\/div>\n<p>Aside from a murder\u2019s row of character-acting talent\u2014Molina is joined by Alfre Woodard, Geena Davis, Bill Pullman, Clark Peters, and Denis O\u2019Hare in the main cast\u2014the vibe of this first trailer is definitely all in on those\u00a0<em>Stranger Things<\/em> parallels.
