\n\tMonday through Sunday, Lady Gaga and Doechii can turn a dance floor into a runway.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe powerhouse pop\/hip-hop duo have joined forces for the just-released duet \u201cRunway,\u201d the first new music from The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em>. The song \u2014 which is named after the fictional fashion magazine at the center of the movie series \u2014 was announced earlier this week when it soundtracked the final trailer for the sequel, which arrives in theaters on May 1.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cRunway\u201d was co-written by Lady Gaga along with her \u201cDie With a Smile\u201d collaborators Bruno Mars, Dernst \u201cD\u2019Mile\u201d Emile II and Andrew Watt, as well as Mayhem<\/em> producer Cikut, Jaylah Hickmon and Jayda Love. Mars, Watt, Cirkut and D\u2019Mile produced the song.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe song is perfect for the catwalk, even starting with the spoken intro: \u201cNo matter what, you better strut.\u201d In the outro, Gaga sings, \u201cYou were born for the runway,\u201d perhaps tipping her hat to her 2011 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash \u201cBorn This Way.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tLast year, Doechii presented Gaga with the Innovator Award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, saying that she identified as a \u201cLittle Monster\u201d growing up. \u201cLady Gaga wasn\u2019t just a pop star; she was a lifeline,\u201d Doechii said of Gaga\u2019s impact on young queer kids. \u201cGaga taught us it was OK to be our real selves.\u201d In a British Vogue<\/em> interview last year, Gaga praised Doechii, saying, \u201cYou don\u2019t often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary. That\u2019s Doechii to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
