These brutal cobblestone tracks are why you can not miss Paris-Roubaix and Paris-Roubaix Femmes on Sunday, April 12.<\/p>\n

The men\u2019s and women\u2019s \u201cHell of the North\u201d are unlike any other races on the pro calendar.<\/p>\n

They play out over cratered and crumbling cobblestones that buckle wheels, bruise butts, and crush dreams. These monuments are such throwbacks that they even finish in an ancient velodrome.<\/p>\n

Mathieu van der Poel, Tadej Poga\u010dar, Lotte Kopecky, Lorena Weibes, and Wout van Aert are braced for races so heinous the UCI would block them if the concept were proposed today.<\/p>\n

Sunday marks the first time Paris-Roubaix Hauts-de-France and Paris-Roubaix Femmes Hauts-de-France\u00a0(to use their new formal names) will both be raced on the same day.<\/p>\n

You can expect a non-stop thrill ride.<\/p>\n

Poga\u010dar and Van der Poel are both on the brink of history, and SD Worx-Protime is under pressure to reassert its old stranglehold.<\/p>\n

After dominating the Tour of Flanders, Poga\u010dar could become the fourth man to complete the monument sweep if he wins in the Roubaix velodrome. And it looks like only Van der Poel can stop him. The Dutchman would be the first rider to win four times in a row if he slays King Pog.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Wiebes and Kopecky are in prime position to put SD Worx back onto the cobblestone map after they missed out in Flanders.<\/p>\n

Reigning Roubaix champion Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot is expected to sit out her title defense, and new Queen of De Ronde<\/em>, Demi Vollering, doesn\u2019t fancy a trip through \u201cHell.\u201d<\/p>\n

      Both Paris-Roubaix and Paris-Roubaix Femmes will be broadcast live worldwide, and post-event highlights packages will also be available.<\/p>\n
