snowpacks.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtbohemia.com\/\">Mount Bohemia<\/a>, the Upper Peninsula\u2019s famed ungroomed and no beginners ski area, recently announced it will stay open on this winter.<\/strong> That puts Mount Bohemia ahead of Jackson Hole (342 inches), Alta (310 inches), Palisades Tahoe (305 inches), Mammoth (253), Big Sky (231 inches), Steamboat Springs (169 inches), and many other western ski areas. The mountain\u2019s backcountry-style terrain offers an experience that rivals the Rocky Mountains. The eastern half of the country continues to ride the momentum of a record-breaking winter into an all-time spring season. Camelback Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania features an 800-foot vertical drop and 166 acres of skiable terrain. Known as a major Poconos destination, it offers 33 trails as well as night skiing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"101\" data-end=\"601\"><strong>For skiers and riders in the Midwest and East, this season is shaping up to be one to be remembered and retold.<\/strong> While many mountains out West are already winding down, resorts east of the Mississippi are still going strong, powered by a winter that delivered well above-average snowfall.
