Zendaya and Law Roach<\/a> have perfected the art of the method dressing press tour. What started as a whisper (see: the <\/a>Dune: Part 1 <\/a><\/em>premieres<\/a>) reached a fever pitch in 2024, during the promotional runs of Challengers<\/a><\/em> and Dune: Part 2<\/a><\/em>. For the actor’s latest film, the wedding-themed<\/a> dramedy The Drama<\/em>, the stylist and his muse used the old rhyme \u201csomething old, something new<\/a>, something borrowed, something blue\u201d as a guiding principle. And while every look knocked it out of the park, it was that \u201csomething blue\u201d \u2014 a Schiaparelli gown and matching blue eyeshadow \u2014 that left jaws on the floor.<\/p>\n

For the film\u2019s April 2 premiere in New York City, Zendaya<\/a> hit the red carpet in feathered Schiaparelli couture from the Spring\/Summer \u201826 collection. The strapless, sculptural black ballgown was covered in vibrant blue feathers, lining both the center of the bodice and the bottom of the skirt.<\/p>\n

And the glam was equally breathtaking. Getting in on the matchy-matchy makeup trend \u2014 which dominated the red carpet at this year\u2019s Academy Awards<\/a>\u2014artist Ernesto Casillas<\/a> created a sultry blue eyeshadow look, featuring black liner at the inner corners, a pop frosty blue shadow at the center of the lower lash line, and plenty of long, spikey lashes. There was a bit of a \u201cbirds-of-paradise\u201d vibe; very fitting, given the plumage on the gown.<\/p>\n
