chances of returning to the world\u2019s top 10, if she can improve her \u2018physical resilience\u2019 and fitness.<\/p>\n<p>The Brit has suffered a tough last few months, after having her off-season derailed with lingering foot discomfort, hindering her results in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/emma-raducanu\">Raducanu<\/a> picked up a viral illness, whilst in the Middle East, which forced her to withdraw from the Miami Open and a WTA-500 event in Linz.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the withdrawals, she attempted to regain her footing at Indian Wells \u2013 reaching the third round, before being dismantled in 52 minutes by Amanda Anisimova in a 6-1, 6-1 beatdown.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the losses, Heman believes that a greater focus on the 2021 US Open champion\u2019s \u2018physical resilience\u2019 \u00a0may help her overcome any lack of on-court weapons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was highlighted in a match against (Amanda) Anisimova,\u201d said the former British No 1 during a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skysports.com\/tennis\/news\/12110\/13525970\/emma-raducanu-marion-bartoli-urges-british-star-to-take-leaf-out-of-aryna-sabalenkas-coaching-book\">Sky Sports<\/a> segment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s never going to be as big a ball striker as Anisimova and the physicality that she brings to the court is obviously intimidating, as these top players are.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut that\u2019s where I think Raducanu needs to be physically stronger. She needs more physical resilience so she doesn\u2019t get the little injuries that put her away from the court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey stop her building the momentum on the match court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can still do a lot of physical work on the court, whether it\u2019s two on one when you\u2019re hitting and moving and building up that physical resilience to get stronger, to get faster, to hit the ball harder, to serve bigger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I could pinpoint one area, it would most definitely be fitness.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Tennis News<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tennis-features\/emma-raducanu-withdraws-another-tournament-when-next-wta-event\">Emma Raducanu withdraws from another tournament.
