Speaking in a new interview with <em>The Metal Voice<\/em>, <strong>Faulkner<\/strong> said: &#8220;We&#8217;ve started recording [the next record]. Yeah, we were in the studio for a month in February laying the foundation. I don&#8217;t know if I&#8217;m allowed to say that, but I&#8217;ve said it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The new <strong>Judas Priest<\/strong> record will serve as the follow-up to their 2024 effort <em>Invincible Shield<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In a 2024 interview with <em>KNAC.com<\/em>, <strong>Faulkner<\/strong> revealed that touring and new music are both firmly on the agenda: &#8220;I think a bit of both, really. These tours tend to grow and evolve over time \u2014 the more we do, we get more offers from different territories and stuff \u2014 so I&#8217;m sure there&#8217;ll be more touring. And there&#8217;s always ideas coming up, there&#8217;s always creative juices flowing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So if we&#8217;re able, we might be able to get in and put some ideas together and see where we are. Is there another record? I know we&#8217;ve got ideas coming up all the time \u2014 riffs and melodies and song ideas and stuff.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re creative people \u2014 as a group of creative people, that&#8217;s gonna happen. So I think, hopefully if we get some time early next year, we&#8217;ll be able to pool those ideas and see what we&#8217;ve got and then hopefully hit the road again somewhere else.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s hoping <strong>Judas Priest<\/strong> gets it all wrapped up before July, because they&#8217;re gonna be on the road quite a bit in Europe.
