A papaya demo car ran at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed and was briefly tested by journalists, before the project was revised in an effort to unlock sales in more countries (though the US and Australia weren\u2019t attempted due to stringent crash and emissions tests).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"HtmlContent\" class=\"MarkUpWrapper-sc-t20i90-0 hQwWlJ\">\n<h3>Where are they now?<\/h3>\n<p>The Can-Am never made production. The website still\u00a0exists, stacked with obvious AI slop and fake rendered supercars. There\u2019s even an invitation to invest. The dream of a hardcore Kiwi\u00a0supercar appears to now rest upon Liam Lawson winning the title for himself and creating Lawson Hypercars Ltd.
