It launches for PC on 21st May.<\/p>\n<p>Described as a &#8220;grand spy RPG&#8221;, Zero Parades casts players as &#8220;brilliant, burnt-out, possibly cursed&#8221; operant Hershel Wilk, alias CASCADE, five years after a disasterous mission that saw him lead his team &#8220;into the abyss&#8221;. There&#8217;s talk of operant skills, dramatic encounters, and inner voices which might not be entirely reliable as Wilk is sent on a mysterious assignment that might give him a chance to prove himself again.<\/p>\n<p>ZA\/UM has confirmed Zero Parades will be Steam Deck Verified on release, so players can &#8220;fight transnational capital on the go&#8221;. For those who don&#8217;t fancy the game on <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2863680\/ZERO_PARADES_For_Dead_Spies\/\">Steam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gog.com\/en\/game\/zero_parades\">GOG<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/store.epicgames.com\/en-US\/p\/zero-parades-ed90f8\">Epic Games Store<\/a> versions will also be available. This time, we&#8217;re launching with five languages on day one and committing to a faster cadence. Additional language support begins rolling out at the end of 2026 and continues through 2027. We want every player to experience Zero Parades in their language &#8211; and we don&#8217;t want them waiting half a decade for it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/zero-parades-is-the-next-game-by-disco-elysium-dev-zaum-revealed-at-gamescom-opening-night-live\">Zero Parades: For Dead Spies was unveiled<\/a> at Gamescom Opening Night Live last year, and has since tempted fans of ZA\/UM&#8217;s prior work with a demo and tantalising trailers. The current ZA\/UM team are not the only crew working to capture the soul of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/disco-elysium-review-large-scale-whodunit-with-a-lack-of-focus\">the beloved Disco Elysium<\/a>, however. Many of its original developers have formed new studios following a public, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/report-details-allegations-of-toxic-behaviour-ip-theft-at-disco-elysium-developer\">vicious fallout<\/a> at ZA\/UM, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/disco-elysium-studio-says-lawsuits-from-former-members-have-been-resolved\">which resulted in legal battles<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/disco-elysium-standalone-expansion-reportedly-cancelled-and-quarter-of-staff-facing-redundancy-at-zaum\">a wave of layoffs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s Red Info, staffed by Robert Kurvitz and Aleksander Rostov from the original team, as well as developer Longdue. The latter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/disco-elysium-spiritual-successor-in-development-from-leads-of-cancelled-sequel\">was formed back in 2024<\/a> by leads of a cancelled Disco Elysium sequel, and is currently working on a &#8220;psychogeographic RPG&#8221;. Then, of course, there&#8217;s Dark Math Games, where OG Disco devs Timo Albert and Kaur Kender are creating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/studio-of-former-disco-elysium-staff-rename-forthcoming-detective-rpg-and-shift-from-familiar-isometric-perspective-as-rivalry-continues\">third-person RPG Tangerine Antarctic, formerly XXX Nightshift<\/a> (I liked the old name!).
