They consistently produce high-quality boards, thoughtfully shaped for their own brand of backcountry destruction (check out this year\u2019s award-winning <a href=\"https:\/\/whitelines.com\/snowboard-gear\/reviews\/snowboards\/weston-gnarnia-snowboard-review.html\">Gnarnia<\/a>, for example).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"791\">As a company, they\u2019ve made a clear effort since day one to stick to their core values \u2014 supporting grass roots community events, championing safe (but fun-forward) backcountry exploration, and backing a wide range of ambassadors and up-and-comers who reflect that ethos.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"966\">Now, nearly 15 years into that journey, they\u2019re taking the next step \u2014 building out a more defined core team of high-calibre riders to represent the brand on a bigger stage.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1266\">First to join the fold is Seth Hill \u2014 a professional snowboarder, filmmaker and creative based in Evergreen, Colorado. With a career spanning more than a decade, Seth has competed at the highest level, stacked up award-winning video parts, and evolved into a respected voice in modern snowboarding.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1268\" data-end=\"1472\">These days, his focus sits firmly on freestyle expression in the backcountry \u2014 from sled-accessed zones to hand-built booters \u2014 while playing a key role in the Flow State crew\u2019s independent film projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1474\" data-end=\"1525\">Leo Tsuo, Weston\u2019s founder, on \u201cwhy Seth, why now\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1527\" data-end=\"1841\">\n<p data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1841\">\u201cWeston has had X Games and Olympic-level riders before, but they moved on when the next offer came along.
