Liam Rivera has claimed victory at the YETI Xtreme Verbier,
\nposting a score of 96 points \u2014 the highest ever recorded in Snowboard Men competition on the Bec des Rosses.<\/p>\n

The result marks a landmark moment for the Swiss-Mexican rider, who grew up watching the event and came through the Verbier Freeride Team. Rivera, the reigning FIS Freeride World Champion, chose a high-risk line that featured a huge air off the cliffs at the top and a burly backflip in the mid-section. His run drew the loudest reaction of the day from the home crowd. Victor de Le Rue (FRA) finished second on the day with 75 points, a result that proved enough to secure a historic fifth overall FWT title.<\/p>\n
