Here\u2019s Every One \u2014 and When They Close<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The resort announced the closure on Sunday via social media, citing one of the worst snow seasons in Colorado history.<\/strong> As of today, <a href=\"https:\/\/opensnow.com\/location\/steamboat\/snow-report\">Steamboat has just 12% of its terrain open<\/a> and has seen 155 inches of snow this season, approximately 39% of its 400\u2033 average, and a 16\u2033 snowpack, 38% of average.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dave Hunter, President and COO of Steamboat Resort, acknowledged the severity of the season in a statement to guests and staff.<\/strong> \u201cThis season asked a lot from all of us,\u201d Hunter said. \u201cWith the warmest winter and lowest snowpack on record, there were real challenges. But what stands out the most isn\u2019t that.
