Reimagined with South Londoner Stormzy, the track leans into the sultry and romantic, buttered with Jessie\u2019s infectious rasp and his rich and bass-y tone. It\u2019s introspective without losing its bite, vulnerable and confident, and lands as another reminder of why she\u2019s carving out such a distinctive space in the UK scene.<\/p>\n

PSHitsquad ft. Cristale \u2013 \u201cPopeye\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lava La Rue is sharpening their musical edges on new EP, \u201cGirl Is A Knife\u201d. It\u2019s a punchy, punk-tinged spiral into lust, chaos and the kind of romantic adoration that bruises. On lead track, \u201cGIRL IS A KNIFE\u201d, it\u2019s a full-bodied confession laced with screeching guitars and bumping rhythm. Add Lava\u2019s effortless, undulating vocals, it\u2019s Bloc Party-coded but still, very much their own. Inspired by times spent between some Tokyo snow and London bustle, this is Lava somewhat reborn: louder and freer.<\/p>\n

Loreen \u2013 \u201cTrue Love\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Julia Cumming \u2013 \u201cPlease Let Me Remember This\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019s a subtle nod to The Beach Boys, but it\u2019s simple, honest, and another solid step into her solo career.<\/p>\n
