It&#8217;s set to release some time this year on Xbox Series X\/S, PS5, and PC.<\/p>\n<p>Serious Sam: Shatterverse &#8211; coming from the creators of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/dead-by-daylight\">Dead by Daylight<\/a> &#8211; is a celebratory romp through 25 years of Serious Sam. Through a shattered universes narrative, different Sam&#8217;s from multiple dimensions can team up and blast through enemies new and old. This will be mixed with new ideas, such as procedural shifted runs and unstable anomalies which shake up the gameplay.<\/p>\n<p>While notably not being handled by the original Serious Sam developers at Croteam, the co-creator of Serious Sam has provided his blessing alongside the company as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>He provided the following statement alongside the Shatterverse reveal: &#8220;Seeing Shatterverse come to life is a really big moment for us. It&#8217;s very exciting to see another talented team step in and create something bold, fresh, and different within the universe we cherished for so long.
