Sometimes the most interesting hardware on the floor of the Taipei Cycle Show doesn\u2019t need a deep dive. Here are the quick hits and stray details that stopped me in my tracks during the second day of the 2026 show, starting with a couple of heavy hitters for eye candy in the form of the Trigon AR01.<\/p>\n

The AR01 is the brand\u2019s aero-leaning all-around bike, but representatives on the show floor were quick to point out that Trigon is also known for wild paint. These two don\u2019t disappoint. One of them is actually part of a collaborative art series with Taiwanese footwear customizer Rifare Co. The design starts with a physical art piece featuring ripped, lived-in, textured denim. Rifare Co then translated that aesthetic into a split-toe commuter shoe. Think of the concept like an Adidas Velosamba with an SPD cleat, but executed in a traditional Japanese Tabi style.<\/p>\n

That exact same distressed denim texture from the art piece is applied to the AR01, making the frame look like it was dipped in the material. There is even a matching aero helmet to complete the kit. If you prefer to keep things a little less coordinated, the second AR01 on display features a vibrant, flowing fire design concentrated right at the seat post junction.<\/p>\n

Beyond the Trigons, I also stumbled across a beautifully machined wooden-framed belt-drive bike and a handful of other small finds that caught my eye while walking the aisles.<\/p>\n
