The Vision Metron 45 and 60 RS already existed as high-end carbon hoops featuring a 23mm internal width, hooked rim beads, carbon spokes, and a highly competitive 1,290g (45mm) or 1,390g (60mm) wheelset weight. Today\u2019s \u2018Silver Edition\u2019 launch takes that existing platform and upgrades it with fresh graphics and CeramicSpeed bearings.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_980563\" class=\"pom-image-wrap photo-alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Taipei Randoms\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2400\" height=\"1600\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-980563\" src=\"https:\/\/velo-cdn.outsideonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC_4010.jpg?width=3840&amp;auto=webp&amp;quality=75&amp;fit=cover\"><figcaption class=\"pom-caption\">(Photo: Josh Ross\/Velo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Pricing is set at $3,599 (\u20ac3,149 \/ \u00a33,099.99) for the 45 RS Silver Edition and $3,675 (\u20ac3,219 \/ \u00a33,199.99) for the 60 RS. The company behind them, MessWerk, isn\u2019t an FSA brand, but they share a connection: both utilize Power2Max technology.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_980560\" class=\"pom-image-wrap photo-alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Taipei Randoms\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2400\" height=\"1600\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-980560\" src=\"https:\/\/velo-cdn.outsideonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC_4006.jpg?width=3840&amp;auto=webp&amp;quality=75&amp;fit=cover\"><figcaption class=\"pom-caption\"><span class=\"article__caption\">MessWerk pedals could bring down the price of powermeter pedals. <\/span> (Photo: Josh Ross\/Velo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The pedals stand out for more than just the price tag. MessWerk\u2019s founder told me he wants riders to be able to easily and regularly swap pedal bodies without ever needing to read a manual. True to that philosophy, the system is designed to seamlessly swap between SPD-SL, Look Keo, or SPD, and you can even add lights depending on the pedal body you choose.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_980561\" class=\"pom-image-wrap photo-alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Taipei Randoms\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2400\" height=\"1600\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-980561\" src=\"https:\/\/velo-cdn.outsideonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC_4007.jpg?width=3840&amp;auto=webp&amp;quality=75&amp;fit=cover\"><figcaption class=\"pom-caption\"><span class=\"article__caption\">Easy to swap sindle<\/span> (Photo: Josh Ross\/Velo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If that all sounds too good to be true, it is\u2014for now. This is a \u201ccoming soon\u201d product, but I\u2019m told \u201csoon\u201d means this summer, and the target price is in the $400 range for a set of dual-sided power pedals.
