Originally created to give young bands a platform to be seen and heard, the Audiotree Music Channel has become a cornerstone in the music world. The concept is to capture intimate performances from diverse artists in a professional studio at no cost to them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And Audiotree has been receiving quite a few nods from metalheads as the series&#8217; booking manager \u2013\u00a0or whoever is in charge of performances \u2013\u00a0has noticeably favouring more and more metal artists (<strong>NOVELISTS<\/strong>, <strong>Currents<\/strong>, <strong>Pinkshift<\/strong>, <strong>SPITE<\/strong>, <strong>Arm&#8217;s<\/strong><strong>Length<\/strong>; and that&#8217;s all within the last month), all artists making their mark on the scene in their own right. <\/p>\n<p>So, <strong>Heriot<\/strong> seems like a perfect candidate for the sessions with their head-melting live performances and exploration of metal subgenres as <strong>Heriot<\/strong> have previously been hailed as the UK&#8217;s &#8220;essential emerging artist&#8221; because of their ability to include so many genres in one cohesive metal package. <em>NME, Metal Hammer, Stereogum, Rock Sound, DORK, Stereoboard, Pitchfork, Kerrang!, Revolver, The Guardian<\/em>, and more have praised the quartet for their debut release, <em><em>Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell<\/em><\/em> which received a deluxe edition this past February alongside a new track, &#8220;Master Of Deceit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heriot<\/strong> have toured with bands along the likes of <strong>Trivium<\/strong>, <strong>Thy Art Is Murder<\/strong>, <strong>Lamb Of God<\/strong>, <strong>Architects<\/strong>, <strong>Kublai Khan TX<\/strong>, <strong>Converge<\/strong>, and many more, their live ensemble completely cohesive and instinctual for this band.
