Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center<\/a> has launched its annual Spring Gear Giveaway<\/a>, running through April 1, with a goal of raising $30,000 to fund avalanche<\/a> forecasting and education across Colorado.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The campaign offers donors a chance to win a share of 24 prizes valued at more than $16,000 in backcountry gear and experiences.<\/strong> Every $20 donation earns participants one entry to win gear of their choice. Donors select which prizes they want to enter for at the time of donation, allowing them to target specific items from the prize pool.<\/p>\n
