After images surfaced of the pair posted up in a car, the internet concluded that they were on-set shooting the visual. This one is lensed with a different aesthetic, a bit grittier, and shot in Youngboy\u2019s home state of Utah.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Slawn Drops An Album<\/h3>\n<p>\nYes, you\u2019re reading that right. After working closely with some of the biggest artists in the world for quite some time, for the first time ever, Slawn himself has stepped into the music world. In collaboration with Saatchi Yates Gallery, the visual artist is expanding his artistic ether to include sonics, wrangling a diverse yet dialed-in lineup of artists to have their hand at his 15-track studio debut. Entitled <em>Not An Artist,<\/em> the album was recorded entirely at the Gallery, which Slawn converted into a full-service recording studio (dubbed Slawn\u2019s Studio), with sessions moderated by Central Cee collaborator Arthur Bean. Featured artists include Unknown T, Blackhaine, Obongjayar, AntsLive, Jammer, Cochise, Travy, Len, taves, Youngs Teflon, Tiny Boost, Reign, Kida Kudz, Yuno Miles, deeD0t, Kidwild and JELEEL!.\n<\/p>\n<h3>FINNEAS To Soundtrack <em>BEEF<\/em>\u2018s Second Season<\/h3>\n<p>Netflix and A24 shared the big news that they\u2019ll be bringing on FINNEAS to score the next season of BEEF. \u201cSpent the last 12 months in <em>BEEF<\/em> land,\u201d FINNEAS wrote in a statement. \u201cAll eight episodes out April 16, All Original music by me. Comprised of \u201cMinty\u201d and \u201cEarth,\u201d the first glimpse of POMPEII\/UTILITY previews a few minutes from either side of the project, with MIKE handling \u201cMinty\u201d and Earl handling \u201cEarth.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Thundercat + WILLOW = \u201cThunderWave\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>As Thundercat nears his grand return to the scene (consider this your reminder that his new album drops exactly six years to the day after its predecessor project, <em>It Is What It Is<\/em>), the musician has remained steady in the rollout. Dubbed <em>Distracted<\/em>, the record is confirmed to feature contributions from artists across the board, including Lil Yachty, Mac Miller, Flying Lotus, A$AP Rocky, Channel Tres, WILLOW, and Tame Impala, additionally bolstered by production from The Lemon Twigs, Kenneth Blume (aka Kenny Beats), and a few other of Thundercat\u2019s close friends and collaborators. For the singles, he\u2019s been consistent with dropping off these featured cuts, already sharing \u201cShe Knows Too Much\u201d with Mac, \u201cNo More Lies\u201d with Tame Impala, \u201cI Did This To Myself\u201d with Yachty and Lotus, and now \u201cThunderWave\u201d with WILLOW. \u201cWillow, the weeping, the whimsy, the whispy, the wizard,\u201d Thunder referred to her in a press statement. \u201cGrateful for the opportunity to create and spend time with such a beautiful human. After working closely with some of the biggest artists in the world for quite some time, for the first time ever, Slawn himself has stepped into the music world. In collaboration with Saatchi Yates Gallery, the visual artist is expanding his artistic ether to include sonics, wrangling a diverse yet dialed-in lineup of artists to have their hand at his 15-track studio debut. Entitled <em>Not An Artist,<\/em> the album was recorded entirely at the Gallery, which Slawn converted into a full-service recording studio (dubbed Slawn\u2019s Studio), with sessions moderated by Central Cee collaborator Arthur Bean.
