Vacan\u021bele le petrecea la Buz\u0103u, locul \u00een care obi\u0219nuia s\u0103 ia lec\u021bii de pictur\u0103 cu Gore Mircescu.<\/p>\n<p>\u00centre 1926-1929 studiaz\u0103 la Paris istoria picturii \u0219i sculpturii, \u00een cadrul Academiei Ranson, cu Amed\u00e9e de la Patelliere, apoi la \u0218coala Louvre, cu reprezentan\u021bi importan\u021bi ai vremii.
