That\u2019s how we described the ambitious but rough and ready\u00a0<em>Project Motor Racing<\/em> at launch\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.topgear.com\/car-news\/gaming\/project-motor-racing-review-its-current-state-its-a-bit-a-mess\">in our review<\/a> last November, and we weren\u2019t alone. Developer Straight4Studios has had plenty of \u2018community feedback\u2019, let\u2019s say, in the wake of a release which felt slightly undercooked.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But it\u2019s not done yet. The team\u2019s planning a 2.0 update which addresses all that feedback and delivers the game that should have been there at launch, due at the end of March.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"HtmlContent\" class=\"MarkUpWrapper-sc-t20i90-0 hQwWlJ\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A few key areas the devs have focused on for this update are an updated user interface, a handling and physics overhaul, online experience tweaks, visual polish and some career mode improvements.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The game\u2019s already dropped a new car for free as an apology to players &#8211; a 2013 Ford Falcon V8 Supercar. It\u2019s also planning to release a new fictional track called High Rock Circuit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"HtmlContent\" class=\"MarkUpWrapper-sc-t20i90-0 hQwWlJ\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It\u2019s a substantial update, then, which should hopefully deliver on the game\u2019s considerable promise.
