Swiatek has named Karolina Muchova her \u201cfavourite WTA player to watch\u201d after she dismantled the Czech star at the 2026 Indian Wells Open.<\/p>\n<p>The six-time Grand Slam champion delivered a devastating display to claim a dominant 6-2, 6-0 victory over world No 13 Muchova in the fourth round at Tennis Paradise.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/iga-swiatek\">Swiatek<\/a> broke in five of Muchova\u2019s seven service games and she did not face a single break point, while she was only taken to 40-40 in one of her own service games.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-year-old Pole now holds a 5-1 head-to-head record against Muchova, with her only loss to the 29-year-old coming in the pair\u2019s first-ever meeting in Prague in 2019. So hopefully we\u2019re going to play many more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Swiatek also sent a message to Muchova on Instagram after the match.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you @karolinamuchova it\u2019s always a pleasure to share the court with you,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The Pole added:\u00a0\u201cOn to the next one tomorrow. Quarterfinals, let\u2019s go!\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Has something \u2018clicked\u2019 for Iga Swiatek in Indian Wells?<\/h2>\n<p>Swiatek is yet to drop a set in Indian Wells, and she was asked in her press conference if she feels something has \u201cclicked\u201d for her at the WTA 1000 event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t say it clicked, because there wasn\u2019t one exact moment, but I also played good in Warsaw before coming here,\u201d Swiatek said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously when you change conditions from, like, minus-something winter indoors to Indian Wells, your tennis is going to feel that.
