infamous estate near Berlin<\/a>, which includes an abandoned villa.<\/p>\n<p>The property comprises several buildings. It\u00a0has been unused and falling into disrepair since 2000.<\/p>\n<p>The eastern state of Brandenburg and the municipality of Wandlitz are &#8220;closely involved&#8221; in discussions about the property located in a forest\u00a0on Lake Bogensee, north of Berlin, an Bundeswehr\u00a0spokesman told German news agency dpa.<\/p>\n<p>It all comes as the\u00a0Bundeswehr is looking for new infrastructure, as it grows in response to the geopolitical situation and new NATO\u00a0requirements, the spokesman added.<\/p>\n<p>Built in 1939, the residence was used as a retreat from Goebbels&#8217;\u00a0Berlin-based\u00a0wife and six children. Apart from entertaining Nazi leaders, artists and actors, Goebbels was also believed to have used the villa as a love nest for his many secret affairs.<\/p>\n<p>After Goebbels\u00a0and his wife killed themselves\u00a0and their children\u00a0in a Berlin bunker in 1945, the villa was briefly used as a military hospital\u00a0before being used\u00a0by the youth wing of the East German communist party.<\/p>\n<p>For about a decade following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the villa\u00a0was put to various uses\u00a0before being largely abandoned. He said at the time it &#8220;buries&#8221; the possibility of an independent Palestinian state.<\/p>\n<p>Germany has said the development plan Israel has would\u00a0divide the occupied West Bank and complicate efforts for a two-state solution.<\/p>\n<p>More than 700,000 Israeli settlers live in the West Bank and East Jerusalem alongside roughly 3 million Palestinians. That equates to almost $8.50 per US gallon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The budget brand of petroleum or gasoline, known as E10, was selling for \u20ac2.095 per liter. Those prices had passed the \u20ac2 mark for the first time in Monday&#8217;s averages.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The cost of diesel has risen by around 40 cents per liter since the war broke out, and petrol prices by more than 20 cents.
