This is the new Dacia Striker. We know it to be a C-segment crossover that straddles the worlds of the humble estate car, hatchback and SUV, because that\u2019s what Dacia has told us.<\/p>\n

We also know it to be a crossover that\u2019ll come with a few different drivetrains, like a hybrid version, a hybrid version with four-wheel-drive, and one powered by LPG, because that\u2019s what Dacia has told us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

And now we know it to be a\u2026 good-looking car, because we can see the entire thing and not a close-up image of its nameplate which Dacia told us about last week<\/a>. We do not know much more than this, because the Striker will be really really<\/em> revealed in full in June 2026.<\/p>\n

Dacia reckons on a starting price below \u20ac25,000 in Europe \u2013 around \u00a321.6k \u2013 which gives you what it reckons is a \u201cdisruptive\u201d silhouette and \u201cstrong aerodynamic efficiency\u201d. There are daytime running lights, a panoramic roof, and\u2026 that\u2019s about all we can ascertain from these launch images.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It\u2019ll be a core part of Dacia\u2019s next step, alongside the Bigster, and is one of a raft of new cars that\u2019ll power the carmaker into the future. Including a little one \u2013 Dacia said it wants to launch four full EVs by 2030, including a city car spun off the Renault 5\u2019s AmpR Small platform, and weighing in at under \u20ac18k.<\/p>\n

The next-gen Dacia Sandero will also come with a \u201cmulti-energy powertrain range\u201d, too.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
