Whoever thought a fallow year was a good idea? Seriously? Like, yeah, I get it, it\u2019s needed for the site to recover and to give those poor grazing cows a breather, but didn\u2019t they think about little old me trying to create an adequate summer character arc; you expect me to do that without Glastonbury<\/a>? God\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lucky for us, there are all sorts of festivities to fill the gap. In fact, the pause allows for a broader perspective. There\u2019s a whole wide world\u00a0of festival greatness just there, waiting for you to explore. Some of you may fancy four days getting silly in a tent in middle England, while others may prefer a European city break with a comfortable hotel setting. Those looking for something closer to comfort and consistency can rely on the plethora of noteworthy London day festivals \u2013 some of those line-ups are little short of mesmerising. Victoria Park is set to be a second home this summer, am I right or am I right?<\/p>\n

Why should I go? <\/strong>It\u2019s hard to look beyond Primavera Sound Festival<\/a> as Europe\u2019s most quintessential festival. After the heights of last year\u2019s pop girl trifecta, the Barcelona-based bonanza had a lot to live up to. But, in true Prima style, it has transcended expectations. With a pantheon of the best legacy acts in the business, scores of new-wave delights, and the joys of a city break on the Spanish coast, it\u2019s the festival to be at this summer. A splash of science, a mix of art-led activities, and lots and lots of music, it\u2019s four days of guaranteed bliss in a green-filled haven. With its commitment and long-established dedication to boundary-pushing rising acts and established legends alike, Green Man is confirmed as one of the UK\u2019s very best.<\/p>\n
