So, it makes sense that the star would team up with fellow rocker Hayley Williams’ hair-color-for-all brand, Good Dye Young, on a shade that’s, well, Nasty<\/em>.\n<\/p>\n The semi-permanent hue\u2014named after Rico’s own moniker\u2014is a punk purple inspired by chaos, energy, and attitude. The description asserts it’s not indigo, not lavender\u2014just unmistakably punk purple. Rico tells us the color is inspired by her love of the late Prince (“the ultimate GOAT”) and is a sweet nod to her childhood longing to experiment with dye. “I wasn’t allowed to bleach [my hair],” she says. “I could only use temporary dyes or hair paints, and I’d be so pissed because the color wouldn’t always show up. But we tested [the “Nasty” hair color] on black hair, and I’m so excited because you can still see the color, even if you don’t like bleaching your hair.”\n<\/p>\n
