A logical assumption would be to think regular asset textures are randomized for each player to slightly shake things up visually each run, but the Destiny community and those who have followed Bungie for years are used to the developer quietly adding all sorts of little quirks and even hidden treasure hunts and gymkhanas which are completely separate from high-level, endgame content, so maybe this is our first look at <em>weird <\/em>stuff happening on Tau Ceti IV&#8230; beyond the admittedly unnerving world-building.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"injection_placeholder\" data-position=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s definitely too early to say whether this is an intended creative decision that hides a hunt for more clues or a puzzle, but the community is already having fun with the idea: &#8220;Find a blue, red, and green platform for each corresponding lobster to begin the encounter,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OlManMakowski\/status\/2028173041977467251?s=20\">one Halo veteran joked<\/a>. Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hidoradoraa\/status\/2028116563950178703?s=20\">other folks<\/a> who are more immersed in this new Marathon&#8217;s backstories are theorizing about the Runners and their connection to material reality: &#8220;There must be a lore reason for this? Manipulating the Runners&#8217; memories.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Whatever ends happening (or not) with the mysterious crustacean, <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/lexreon.bsky.social\/post\/3mfxfrj5wm22y\">the animal has already become a bit of star<\/a> that&#8217;s receiving regular visitors.
